Solid choice

This thing is an absolute work horse. The tonal variety with the 3 band eq and the noiseless pickups give some serious versatility. Absolutely a dream to play and the color is outstanding.

Beyond pleased!

Love everything about this instrument! The C shaped neck sits perfect in your hand and plays like butter! Flipping the switch from passive to active is like hitting the light switch and the sound is phenomenal. The finish on the body is as rich as they come!! Only complaint is I don't like the order of the control knobs, but I would buy this bass ten times over regardless.

This is a solid bass. From the look to its tonal fluidity. Neck is satin action. Rarely get a bass that was out the box ready. Excellent active electronics with smooth 3 band eq for shaping to your taste. Highly recommend and at a decent price.

Absolutely Thrilled!

I took a second look at this and was hesitant about the color and then the price. Figured something wasn't quite right. I have Jazz Elite, Jazz Marcus Miller, Stingrays, Bongo and Rick basses. Just as I was ready to click off my wife said, I like this one. It will match your eyes and your new blue jacket. Oh what the heck, sure. Amazing Aaron, a few text messages back and forth read more and I had it in two days! Close my eyes and it plays and sounds every bit of my others at half the price! Great neck, nice frets, superb finish and I'm an active electronics fan. Hence I don't mind that in passive mode there is no tone control other than pickup balancing. If you're on the fence about the bass made in Mexico, don't! Worth every penny and then some!! Not to mention the responses I received from band mates to sound engineer and the crowd how great sounding and looking it is! If this is not everything I say it is, its backed by Sweetwater no hassle return policy. I believe this is like some manufactures when they try something new they price it just right and if it goes well, like I'm sure this line will do, they raise the prices.

Absolutely Love It!

I took a second look at this and was on the fence. Just as I was about to click off my wife said, I like that and it will match your new jacket... well that's important honey. Well, after a few text to amazing Aaron here at Sweetwater, It arrived perfectly in 2 days. Terrific finish, great neck, frets, and I'm an active electronics fan. Hence no tone control in passive mode other read more than balancing pickup blend and is still fine. Did receive major compliments from band, engineer and the crowd on the sound with of course the look of this bass. One guy said, that's one of those Fender Customs right? Don't they run about five grand? Customs can and do. Didn't feel the need to say this wasn't one of them. I play just about every genre of music 40 years. If made in Mexico concerns you, I assure don't let. I have Jazz Elite, Jazz Marcus Miller, Stingrays, Bongo and Rick basses. I'm proud and excited to have this measure up to what I expect in a bass and at more than half the the price a wonderful buy. I believe as some manufactures create something new to see how it goes and as they find out, as I'm sure this line will do well, they raise the price. Buy now. You won't regret it!
