Great Value

Bill Bowers

I've had this guitar for a week now and boy am I impressed. What a great value. This thing has a large bang for your buck. First of all, it looks great. I wasn't sure about the hockey stick headstock, but it doesn't seem as pronounced as it appears in pictures. It certainly seems to be well built and I love the dark wood grain neck and the black body. The neck is easy on my read more hands and nice and narrow. I'm only 5'8" and have no problem with the width of the nut. The tuner and electronics work fine. It sounds best through my PA system with no effects - still trying to get a great sound from my Fender Acoustasonic 40 amp. I play with my fingers but I think it sounds even better when played with a pick. I saw a review where someone mentioned the strings were too close for fingerpicking - I would agree. I also saw a video where the guy said that playing a 12 string will make you a better 6 string player. I agree with this too - my 6 string seems SO easy after playing this. Bottom line - if you are looking for a quality, relatively low priced 12 string acoustic electric to add to your collection you cannot go wrong with this. AND it comes with a nice gig bag.

Great 2-string guitar.

This guitar chimes and rings beautifully. The playability and action of it is great. Also it has really nice acoustical properties especially for the thickness of the body.

This 12 string guitar is awesome. Finally a 12 string that is fun to play; very playable, hard to put down.

Sweet 12

OK , I've been playing this guitar every day for a little over a month and feel it's time for a review. I couldn't play one locally so I took a chance and got one from Sweetwater. Knowing 12 strings can be a bear sometimes, I had Sweetwater install lighter strings, lower the action and tune it down a half. Plays great. Sounds really good unplugged and super nice plugged in with read more some stereo chorus. I've had no problems with it staying tuned with or without my Kyser 12 string capo. The only negative is the Fender gig bag. My wife said the guitar is too pretty and it deserves a hard case!
