I work on guitars every day for a living. Last year i got my first set of fluence moderns. I loved them! They were great for what i wanted and the ceramic in the bridge sends out searing hot metal tones. But when you bring it down to a clean tone, it left a lot to be desired imo. They sounded fine clean they were just bland and didnt have a lot of character. Fast forward, i now… read more have 2 guitars with moderns in them so i got this classic set for one of them. Incase anyones wondering and you were in the same position i was, you can just use the wiring from the moderns for the classics. There is one super minor thing you have to resolder regarding voice 3 but its so easy anyone could do it. If not and you have to wire everything up, its just as easy as anything else with push pull pots, not too complicated. I had high expectations for these things. They definitely met my expectations. The two humbucker voices are great! Definitely very different especially on a clean channel. The single coil tone is honestly the best single coil tone ive ever heard come out of a humbucker. I spend my time around guitars $ plus in value on a daily basis. No expensive boutique humbucker or anything in between that and cheap can compare to that single coil tone. The first two voices are just as desirable as well. I cant believe the versatility i can get out of my guitar now. Super satisfied, a true 5 star review.

It has all the usual great PAF tones and the cool single coil voice 3 and the airy chime and JB hot rod sound. It cover all styles and sounds huge for metal if you got the right gear. Great great sounds and looks beatiful in my LP style guitar.
