Put these in my Les Paul Traditional and really dig them! There are options to change which coil you want to use in single coil mode, and an option to get a darker sound as well. I'm an electronic engineer and installing these were pretty straight forward. I suggest going to Stew Mac and purchasing their wood Les Paul solder jig. This lets you solder outside of the guitar, then… read more drop the pots right in for a perfect fit. There will be a few connections that need to be made after dropping the pots in. These sound fantastic! The PAF sings and the 2nd voicing of a hot-rodded PAF is my favorite. Really cleans up well with rolling the volume down. There is also a 3rd single coil voicing that is pretty nice. You also have the option to select which coil you want active during this voicing. These really sound fantastic!
