Crystal clear and quiet!
Just wow. I wanted a p90 guitar for a long time so I bought an epiphone les paul special used for super cheap. The pickups just weren't doing it for me though. I like quiet coils and when I read about these pickups I knew I was in for a treat. Not only did I get to watch Greg's incredible playing while reviewing the pickups, I heard just how versatile the different voicings make… read more these puppies. I knew right then I had to buy these. Wiring them myself was a learning process that took about 6 hours (my first time) but once they were in I was blown away. I was playing a guitar that cost me just over 600 dollars that was outperforming some of my $3k-4k guitars! The single coil setting is so convenient, no more switching guitars in between songs. My only gripe is the battery but that comes with the territory with active pickups and I wouldn't trade these for anything. These pickups seriously changed my life!
Fluence Greg koch P-90s
I always stayed away from P-90s due to the noise factor. These pickups are quiet! Lots of options when it comes to tone. Great job Greg and Fishman. I bought this cheap guitar because it has a spaulted maple top. It now has become number 3 of my favorite guitars to play. Thank you
