These pickups were exactly what I needed. I bought a cort 7 string multi scale guitar with stock pickups in it and they sounded muddy even on the high strings. I contacted sweetwater about these pickups and they recommended these. I wired them in and couldn't be happier with them. They sound great just with the wiring instructions. Eventually I will experiment with some of the other… read more sounds available, but I don't need to. These pickups definitely cleaned up the sound. It's like a new guitar. Voice 1 has just enough to breakup with gain but not overgain when using a distortion pedal..voice 2 is clean without sounding hollow. If you are on the fence pull the trigger, you won't be sorry.
