Best option for my playing style
I had a set of schecter super sonics (passive) pickups that i took out of my 8 string blood moon. I needed something with more punch and dirt to it and these fishman pick ups did the job. Having the push pull pots to split gives different tone options and works great when playing cleans. Super Versatile
I wanted something with the ability to go from searing distortion to crystal clean, and these pickups deliver. I loved that they came with all of the necessary wiring and pots to take full advantage of them. I ended up using both push pull pots for individual volumes for each pickup and a regular pot for a tone control. My one criticism is that there wasn't a wiring diagram available… read more for such a setup, even though I'd think that would be fairly common, so I had to A/B between Fishman and Seymour Duncan diagrams to make it work (they replaced some Blackouts, so it felt a bit like treason but that's on Duncan). Totally worth the effort.
