Arrived perfectly and very quick ! Thanks for that Sweetwater ! I'm not overly impressed with this . It works fine. Quieter than other pedals , meaning not as loud . I wasn't to impressed with the shimmer . You can dial it in or out but not a great match for things I routinely play . Thought the shimmer would add a little sparkle but seems to have fallen a little flat .… read more Also seems the shimmer may be a little late coming in . It's not pick and it's there tracking or is it my old ears ? Reverb was fine . I can use it a little on on my little Orange terror amp . But it seems like a pony with only two basic tricks . Pedal may be fun if I try different music or something . This is the first review I've done where I did not give a five star rating. I've done a few in the past with other products .

I like this reverb for the one man band gig I have. Adds a sort of strings effect. Like any effect I dont have it up a lot. I like the sound of my guitar, Just have it up enough that the guitar sounds accompanied. This is a replacement I bought for one that was on sale, a while back. Turns out it was badly corroded. Did what I could for it using corrosion inhibitors but it was causing… read more too much havoc with the other effects. This new box seems to work fine.

Has some really good effect, but takes a little tuning to get it right, but to each his own. Creates good sound, but tends to drop the volume some when activated.

I bought this to replace the strings with a shimmer reverb in my old rack mount unit from the 90s. It does a great job. A few minutes at home to mount it on my board and tweak the knobs and I had it on stage. The tones are lush and full. The trails are perfect

I'm really enjoying this pedal especially combined with my SY-1. Really makes things seems epic and huge. The mix knob is my only real complaint as I can't seem to find an absolutely optimal position? When engaged the guitar does get ever so slightly softer while the shimmer sounds are riding underneath. Or if I make the guitar louder with the mix knob? The shimmer sounds are a… read more liiiitle quiet. This is probably a subjective problem and overall not a really problem at all as its barely noticeable. For the price holy bells hells its a wonderful pedal. Really makes me feel like I'm flying in a cosmic dreamscape. Great great pedal.
