This mini amp has big sound, particularly when coupled with the extension speaker. I use it for practice sessions at home and in my cabin aboard cruise ships. The 6 AA batteries fit securely in the main speaker cabinet and are easy to install. The second speaker is connected to the main speaker cabinet with a chord that is neatly secured behind the main speaker when the auxiliary… read more speaker is not being used. An A/C power chord is included with the unit for use in place of the AA batteries. Importantly, there is a red on/off light on top of the main speaker cabinet that increasingly dims as the batteries lose power. Blackstar says the batteries last for 55 hours. Packaging is extraordinary. The original factory package contains protection for all top mounted controls. Sweetwater wraps that with bubble wrap within a second, outer box.

Got this stereo set of FLY3s and never expected how sweet they sound! I just got my first uke and it sounds good alone, then i plug in , its just perfect! Ihave a small aprt. and i realize It was the perfect choise. (So happy I passed on that Marshall 800 4 stack I think my neighbors might have been kinda mad) LOL These are sweet as candy!!!

I have had the electric guitar model for a couple of years now decided to buy this one. The sound you get from these amps is amazing, loud enough to drown out the sound of the neighbor's barking dogs in fact. I use it with acoustic guitars that have passive and active pickups, have not experienced any feedback or other unwanted noise from it. For such an inexpensive piece of gear, it works very well. Only 6 amps, but works great with my tenor uke and K&K passive pickup. Perfect for my needs.

This is a VERY surprising product. I bought the 6 watt stereo setup and it is a first-rate amp; it has all the features of much larger & more expensive amps. I especially like the Shape & delay functions. I use a fast repeat on the delay to get s great reverb. This product is well worth the price. JL
