Even though I am no longer using this pickup in my current guitar, I can't say enough good things about it. If you want Van Halen tones, this is your pickup! I haven't spent enough time around Wolfgang pickups to compare the two, but I definitely loved this one. It can do great clean tones while being able to transform into a ferocious roar in a second! Sounds aside, the visual… read more asthetics of this pickup are also incredible. At first glance it may seem like just a default humbucker as far as looks go, but the tape winded around the copper wiring in a messy sort of way give this thing the look as if it had been taken apart and put back together by hand after being rewound (just like the original).

If you the vh sound get this but on my axe I had to use a 250k pot.it 87ish charvel, maple board,og floyd like 80s floyd.

While no piece of gear will magically make you "Shred like the master"...this little darling just might get you a bit closer sound wise. Overall a great pickup. Highly recommended;)...

I wanted to beef up the tone in my ash body Strat. Impressive! Was not trying to nail Eddies tone , but this thing has clarity in solos and chunk in rhythm. Ease the volume back and it cleans up very nicely!!! This pup sound amazing!!! Now just waiting on a pickgaurd.

I purchased this pickup to replace the stock custom fender pickup in my EVH Charvel Art Series guitar and what an improvement this pick is great what can I say my EVH Charvel never sounded this good, also fast delivery and great customer service from sweetwater very happy with my purchase.
