Me And My Shadow

I needed a highly portable amp to take out onto the porch without a lot of fuss. And it needed to be one that if the dog knocked it off, into the bushes, it would not be a tragedy. Just a little volume and power for my guitar. The Frontman is not much larger than a shoe box and lighter than a guitar. Perfect. But, it's actually pretty decent. Good clear tone on the dry setting, read more and nice sweet growl on the overdrive setting. The cable ports are tight, no rattle or hum. The bass and treble eq work well. With an 1/8 male to male cable I was able to run backing tracks and streamed recordings from my Mac through the speaker while playing the guitar. Now, I'm dragging it around the house from room to room whenever I have an extra half hour and need to be in a room other than my studio. Last night I put the football game on mute and watched while playing in the living room. And it looks like a Fender (only miniature).

I was looking for a good sounding smaller starting amp for my grandbabies. This one fits the bill at a great price and service. I blinked and it was here. I really think I have found another great sight for music. Now I got to order more.
