It does what it should

It works exactly the way it should. The offset height of the dual switches makes it easy to track both switches, in a package roughly the same footprint as a standard boss pedal. I use it for tap tempo on a delay in one channel and a tremolo in the other.

Just what I needed

I use the Boss RC-300 loop station, and I was getting tired of bending down all the time to twist the knob to select the patches I needed for a song. I got this pedal to scroll through the patches with my foot. I plugged this into my RC-300, and I didn't have to configure it. It worked for changing patches right out of the box, and I don't need a power cord for it. I think Boss read more does an excellent job with their gear.

Rugged and smooth

I use it to bank up and down on my Boss MS3. Can be configured a few different ways. Might seem pricey for what it does but it works easily and is super sturdy.

Great Improvement!

I have been using the Fs6 for quite awhile but, I was needing to reduce size in my performing area. I have what you would call a cockpit. A pedal to stop and start my drum machine fs6, FX pedal, boss ve8, boost pedal and light control pedal. This fs7 pedal really helped cleanup the space and works perfectly plus NO battery!

A Great Quality Investment

It's the little things that make the big difference for the gigging musician and this little pedal is one of those big differences. I was thrilled to see Boss creating this particular switch. I have been using two FS-6 pedals which are awesome, but always wishing they had less foot real estate size. As a solo performing musician with looping, vocal processing, etc, foot read more space is precious and crucial to keep at a minimum. This switch does the trick and does it well. The ability to use it without battery or AC power for my needs is another huge plus. The battery need and use of the FS-6 is frustrating from having no way to tell how much battery you may have left at any given time. The gig is NOT the place you want to interrupt the show to change a battery. Re-chargables and changing every gig just to be sure is a bit iffy and certainly aggravating and alkalines can get pricey over time......so thank you Boss for creating the F-7. The Pros: • Small and Convenient Vertical Design rather than Horizontal taking up less real estate • Built like a tank with quality and very solid switches • Multiple configurations are possible • Can be used without power for momentary or latched operation • Power supply can be used if needed or if the desire to see on and off LED light is necessary • The Quality makes it obvious this switch should operate for a very long time The Cons: • Danged pricey for a footswitch. But like all things musical or otherwise, you ultimately get what you pay for. Bottom line: A well worth it investment for something that should likely never have to be replaced. I ordered only one first to see how well it would work for my configuration and now that I know it is built well and works so well I am ordering the second one I need today. Pricey yes, but as a full time gigging musician I cannot afford cheap equipment. You either buy nice.......or you buy twice. Boss knocked it out of the park with this one. If you need a good dependable switch that will last a very long time......just order it. Your peace of mind at the gigs will thank you for it.
