The case is heavy and I image it will protect my Falcon well. The guitar fits perfectly snug although the first time I put the guitar in the case the guitar end pin rolled back the plush lining of the case to bare wood. As for the finish work of the case it's very poor ragged glue lines uneven seams. Very poor quality. If you want protection and don't care what it looks like get… read more it. If you like fine don't bother.

Very nice case. Appears to be well-made. Extremely tight fit. Almost had to force the guitar into it the first. time. But, according to Gretsch, this is the case made for the model.
