Taking the noise but not the tone

Was having problems with more noise than usual lately from my Mesa mark 5 25 and couldn't really get it to go away. I was using my boss ns-2 and that would help cut down a little bit but when I started to crank it the noise just got too much. So I decided to do some research and check out what was out there and then happen to stumble upon this guy. Was almost too good to be true… read more when I was watching the videos and reading the reviews. So I decided to put an order with sweet water and give it a shot. I've had it for about over a month now and used it at home to practice to mini festival size stages and couldn't be happier. It took away almost 90 percent of the noise I was dealing with (using the 4 cable method) and now when I crank up it's almost dead silent and it didn't take away any tone that I can hear. This pedal is built very well and seems like it will hold up very well. Also I've been using my boss power supply to power it and works very well. So if your having trouble with noise like we all do, try this pedal and you will be super surprised like I was.

I love this noise gate more then any pedal on my board cause it can do the one thing every other pedal can't do...it's make no noise 100%. I run my (REVV G8) I run it through my effects loop and the pedals so that way it silents 100% what I want it to including my Amp. It has setting we're you can set it to when you play a power cords and it stop instantly or have it ring out as… read more well still no extra noise, 1 out of 10 I'd give it a 15.

I currently own 5 noise suppression/gate pedals. I play a lot of loud noise rock, but I prefer to have complete control over said noise. I have multiple hi gain pedals on the board including overdrives,distortion, and fuzzes, sometimes running all of them at once. Running two NS-2s and a decimator in unison couldn't kill the noise. The Revv 8 standing alone killed all the unwanted… read more noise, as well as not choking out the tone I have worked so hard to get. Super easy to dial in , and built very well! Fantastic job Revv!

This is the best NOISE GATE ever! Doesn't suck your tone and it's a must in your pedalboard or in your studio.
