Pigtronix noise gate
This pedal is working great for me. Quieted my rig down when O stop playing even on full out distortion. I recommend this Pigtronix noise gate.
Best Noise Gate Pedal
I have tried different brands, but this is absolutely the best functioning noise gate pedal that I have. The ability dial in the noise threshold and to see a useful LED light indicate when the noise gate is working, has been the best tool for me to dial in the proper noise reduction (I absolutely hate noise). I don't why the pedal works differently than other pedals, but it does,… read more and is my #1 noise gate.
Just,what I needed
Because I have limited space on my board, I needed a space saving noise gate. Will at Sweetwater suggested I give the Pictronix a go and see what happens. I put it on the board and really couldn"t believe how easy it was to work. You turn the dial on the right all the way to the left and then dial the left one back until You are happy when the gate closes. Super simple to use.
The Missing Piece
I ordered this when it was first announced, based upon the reviews of it's larger brother and I am not disappointed. It's totally transparent, easily dialed in, it has a tiny footprint and low power consumption. When I'm not playing my rig is now totally silent. What's not to love? Oh yeah, and the price is right.
