Nice strings but....
I use to use this brand & gauge exclusively on my electric guitars. I put the guitars down for 2 years because life got in the way. Anyway, I've started playing a lot and loaded the Boomers on my Les Paul & Strat. I've had them on my guitars for a week or so and just as before, they sounded great. I only have one problem with them now & that is that they turn my fingers and fretboard… read more black. I'm a pretty hard lead player & that may be the reason I'm wearing them down so fast. When I play a lot, I change strings every 2 weeks or so & the Boomers were cheap enough to do that. I've tried Ernie Ball Cobalt & M-Steel strings that cost more than the Boomers & I didn't have so much string breakdown. I guess I'll change to the Ernie Ball strings.
