Good rugged case for my new Gretch Hollowbody from Sweetwater

My excellent Sweetwater sales engineer Sarah explained my choices and said this fit for my Gretch would be fine and not a tight fit. I added a couple of guitar cloths and like the ample section for accessories. Very Pleased.

Gator case

Overall this is a solid case. Not too heavy, but doesn't come off as cheap. A nice alternative for the more expensive hardshell cases. Has lots of room inside for additional stuffs like strings, picks, a squirrel, or a hot pocket. Recommended.

Works great!

I bought this to fit a Gretsch G5622T and it fits it perfectly. The case is built great and will definitely protect the guitar. It's a little tricky when closing to line up the aluminum track on top and bottom sometimes, but besides that it is perfect. I would recommend if you have a Gretsch guitar with a center block that has that "335" type shape.

Good fit for Epiphone ES-335 Pro

My review is for the GC335, which is sized for ES-335 style guitars. Quality of the exterior, interior, hinges etc. seems to be fine. Some of the bad reviews have expressed concern with the fit, so I thought I'd include pictures of my Epiphone ES-335 Pro in this case. The dimensions of the case seem to fit the guitar well in terms of the side-to-side dimensions, the headstock,… read more the bouts, etc. I think some of the other reviewers have been concerned with the way the body and the neck fit in the case. It being an archtop, neither the back nor the front of the guitar is flat, so the body doesn't contact the bottom of the case throughout. The neck lays down solidly on the lower support around the 12th fret, and with the case open there is a bit of gap on the upper support around the 2nd fret. I believe that when you close the case it would naturally press down on the neck very slightly so that the lid is contacting the neck across its full length. There is plenty of foam padding in the lid, so this should not be a problem. If the angle is a concern, I suppose you could put a bit of foam or a towel under the body, but I don't believe the neck is being placed under stress. With the case fully closed and latched, I rocked the case a bit and did not feel the guitar moving or knocking inside. To me, this is the biggest concern in how a guitar fits in a case.
