No Problems

I have a good number of these used with a number of different brands of instruments (all electric). I've had no issues with reliability or marring of the instrument's finish. Almost all of mine use the included plastic wall inserts, and installation is easy. The hard part is computing optimal spacing, but that has nothing to do with the hanger itself. I do recommend drilling small… read more pilot holes first (in case you're lucky enough to hit a stud) and using a level when drilling the lower hole; beyond that, assume about 5 minutes for the entire job. These work as advertised, and I plan on getting a few more myself.

GATOR Wall Hanger is a GREAT product.

Got 4 of theses to hang some guitars in my basement and was very impressed by the quality of the product. I like the padded insert that goes on before the base plate. Hangers are very sturdy and well designed. Will be ordering a few more!!

Nicely engineered guitar hangers

Wanted to hang a couple of my guitars on the wall and these were perfect. The Sweetwater video sold me on this brand. You showed the variety of colors available and how the pieces fit together. It's a simple item but I like how all of the pieces make sense and fit together like a glove. I know it is designed to go directly into dry wall or a stud but I wanted to make it even… read more more secure. So, I stained a piece of oak and mounted that to the wall. Does the deal, strong, sturdy mounting

Got like 8 of these for my studio wall of guitars. Exact alignment can be terse on studs but that has nothing to do w the hanger. I like it has two stud mount (or drywall inserts) and the way the plate mounts cushioned against the wall allows for snug screw fit allowing for uneven wall finish. Great hanger far as I am concerned.

Nice hanger

I picked up a few of these hangers at Gear Fest 2017. They were easy to install and hold secure on my wall. My Takamine acoustic and Gibson Les Paul fit great. My Cordoba has almost too wide of a neck to fit, but it does work. The guitars look great on the wall. They are up off the floor to avoid being knocked over.
