The wood construction is very high quality. I was amazed at how well they made this guitar. The woods and the ruby color of the finish are excellent. Nylon nut now that's ridiculous! The neck is not too thin. I wish they would of just made it like they did in 1964 instead spraying some aging substance on the entire guitar. The pickups sound very good and all in all it is a very good guitar and 10 years down the road will really be a great sounding instrument. I think for the money and they are not cheap, Gibson should provide the very best when making a guitar of this caliber.
