As good as it gets

I've been a huge PRS fan for years and they've always been my go to guitars. This guitar sits right there with the best of their top of the line guitars. Straight out of the box the sound was phenomenal. I play a lot of metal and hard rock and this guitar keeps up with the best of them. The neck feels great, it's light (makes long shows soo much better). I had never owned a semi read more hollow body before but PRS knocked it out of the park with this guitar. Highly recommend!

Incredible Value

This guitar is an incredible value. I can't say enough about the look, feel and tone. I have 5 electric guitars and this has become the one I always play and happens to be the one that cost the least out of my collection. As it mentions in the description, it is great for chording, just feels solid and sturdy. I rarely play lead guitar, so this was perfect for my rhythm playing. read more For the money, I don't think there is a better option out there. If you love PRS guitars, this one is absolutely wonderful to play.

Worth every penny and really is fine as is...

First of all, I would like to give a huge shoutout and thank you to my sales rep Danny Mosco of Sweetwater!!! He was very helpful and patient with my purchase of this wonderful guitar. I based my 5 star rating purely on this guitar's price range for its value. I am so impressed with this guitar, I'd put it up there in the same category as a Gibson Les Paul Studio which costs several read more hundreds of dollars more. As you can see in one of my photos, I also own a 2020 Gibson Slash Les Paul Standard in November Burst. Been playing for over 25 years so I hope I know what I'm talking about. Action and setup was perfect right out of the box. 1/64 at the first fret and 1/16 at the 12th fret both sides. Absolutely ZERO fret buzz or fret-outs too when bending notes. I am shocked that the frets were better polished and smoother than my Gibson was brand new. No need to break in these frets, they're ready for the stage! Tone: I initially thought I was going to atleast need to change the pickups, but as soon as I plugged it into my Marshall Silver Jubilee this thing is perfect. It may not have the exact bite and crunch of my Gibson, but it still has enough bite in its tone to cut through a mix. I play mostly hard rock and top 40's hits, so I can't speak for the metal heads if this guitar can chug with the best. Overall, I am very happy with this guitar. This is not a hype folks, these high rating reviews you see are all legit!!! All I modified was the truss rod cover and the strap buttons to locking types. Get it now!!! Don't hesitate. Thank God I didn't wait. Forgot to mention, this guitar was a Demo/scratch and dent model. The only flaw I see is an overspray on the lower cutout horn. I didn't buy this guitar to "baby" it, this will be my main standard tuning guitar, I keep my Gibson on E- flat for lots of GnR songs. But trust me, this guitar can play anything my Gibson can play and... it's even easier to access the higher notes because of the bigger cutout. Love this guitar, I'm calling it "Addy", after a crush I have on a girl at the moment LOL

No way this is just an SE!!

This guitar is absolutely incredible, it blew me away right out of the box! This Zach Myers SE looks and feels like it could be a core line $4000+ PRS guitar, but it's

Amazing performance for price!

I feel lucky to already have this guitar so I wanted to post a quick review for others. The bottom line for me is that it's the best SE I have ever played and PRS could easily charge double the price. Mine arrived in the nice SE gig back and was pretty much in tune. The nut and neck relief were perfect with the action set about 2mm at the 12th fret, very acceptable and what some read more actually prefer. As the neck relief was good a quick turn of the bridge screws brought the action down to about 1.6mm on the 12th which is my preference. A quick examination of the frets showed no sprout and no tall frets. At the action described above all notes ring out and there are no dead spots plus all were very polished and rolled nicely. Aesthetically the guitar is simply stunning. The top on this one is breathtaking and the matching headstock truly sets it apart. While other companies are using alternative woods PRS has kept the fretboard rosewood and it's beautiful. Perhaps not as tight a grain or as dark as some core models but far better than almost anything I have seen at double this price. The biding and fretwork are also spot on, I have no flaw or blemishes on the one I received. Even all the knobs are on straight, that's silly and an easy fix at home but the fact that they all level and quite smooth shows a little extra care. The neck is as described, the PRS wide fat neck and I have found it very comfortable to play, I actually prefer the feel over the pattern regular on my Vela and C24 Piezo. The pickups are the 245S and they are good. As I've only had a couple of days they will probably grow on me but I'm sure some will find them perfect. What I can say is that they have a great midrange bite, even at high gain which means this guitar can go from beautiful warm cleans to "chuggin" with the best of them, very versatile. If you were about to buy the previous model, then you are probably already excited for the new one but if you are on the fence and considering this against other single cut models from multiple manufactures, get this one. I believe you will find the quality and versatility far exceeds it's competitors.
