I've always been a solid body electric guitar player. I never thought I'd like a semi hollow this much. When it arrived a few nights back, I literally played it until I fell asleep on the couch with it on my lap. Luckily my cat like reflexes protected it when suddenly woke up. Get one if you can. Special thanks to Camryn at Sweetwater for (yet another) great major purchase experience.

This is my first Trini Lopez. This guitar is ready for Rock n' Roll! I am very impressed with the sound and the feel. It arrived with a very nice setup. I will summarize: "I want another one".

Plainly, this guitar sounds amazing, looks beautiful, and plays wonderfully. Gibson Custom really came through with this edition of the Trini. I really love how the have decided to put binding in the diamond holes again. I was very excited to see that Sweetwater was selling in Pelham Blue because it is my favorite Gibson color. I love the pickups, and the clarity and bite they… read more provide as humbuckers. There is no muddiness at all, and they can get dirty when you want to drive the amp as well. The fit and finish was excellent as well.
