She’s a beauty
Right out of the box she is stunning. Sounds great. Neck is smooth and plays great. My only complaint is the input jack came loose and the knobs feel cheap. Other than that she's a great bass
G&L SB-2 Surf Green. Very nice Bass!
Listened to Video Reviews and pounced on this bass. I own Fender American Pro and Fender Player Series. This bass plays and sounds as good or even better. The Tuners are heavy duty, smooth operating and no slop in them. The output rivals my Active Bass and what is remarkable is the tone of these US Crafted MFD's are anything but muddy. They are sweet, bell like, articulate with… read more even balance across the strings. It has a bone nut that is perfectly cut. Once intonation (very close when received) was done each note up and down the fret-board is right on. Also noted the sustain is very good with no dead spots. It comes with two volume controls that can be adjusted for the two pickups to get a variety of tones. MFD's are truly special pickups. I have not had a bass that I didn't want to change something but think I have found one. I definitely would not change pickups or tuners on this bass. I may let another bass go someday but not this one.
