Very Cool Short Scale
I wanted to try a short scale and had it down to either the Gretsch G2220 or the Fender Mustang Player. I loved the look of the G2220 and it was less than half the price so I went with it. Very pleased so far. The color is awesome and I love the body. It's light weight and the shorter neck is easy and fun to play on. It's true the pickups aren't actually humbuckers but they sound… read more fantastic to my ears anyway. Wonderful little bass for the price and it's refreshing how much less cumbersome it is than a standard size.
Very good bass
I've been a guitar player for a few years and wanted to break into playing the bass. The design and price were the main selling points of this for me and after playing it for a few weeks I can say that this bass is very good. Plays real nice and isn't too heavy and looks beautiful.
My favorite bass I've ever owned
I've been playing bass for almost 2 decades now, and I've owned everything from Squiers to Steinbergers. But for me, this is it. I've got small hands, so short scales are my preference, and this is one of the nicest you can find out there. The fit and finish easily matches an MIM Fender at half the price and absolutely destroys anything Gibson makes at any market segment. It's… read more comfortable, its easy to set up, it sounds fantastic, and it's easy to play. I wish more companies would make short scales this good.
Dudeā¦
For the price the bass is amazing! It was definitely an impulse buy on a recent trip to the store and I regret nothing. It is so much fun to play! It feels amazing for being a budget bass and sounds great!
My son LOVES this bass!
I recommend this guitar to anyone starting out or the seasoned player who wants a scaled down bass comfortable knock around practice guitar..it's got great tone and flexibility!
