This bass plays and sounds amazing. Long-time professional player… The one and only thing I'd like to see changed is the neck dive. I had a new strap button placed on the neck instead of the body. Works wonders!!! Very minimal neck dive. Thanks to great SW staff and sales team for all their help and assistance. Cant stop playing this thing. light and sounds great with nylons. The pick ups are really the best Ive heard on any bass. seriously.

Having played short-scale basses previously into the mid 1980s I was sure glad to see them coming back into demand. I’ve always liked the sound of a semi-hollow body on a bass and have had a lot of respect for the Grrtsch name. I finally after 6 years of wanting one of these ordered it. I've always loved the Gretsch hollow body guitars and decided to treat myself to this bass. It is beautiful, wonderful and I just love it. It sounds great unplugged and with the two pickups the options are many for different sounds. I ordered this Gretsch bass from Sweetwater a while back and I love it. I have never ordered any guitar sight un seen, but now I'm glad I did. It surpassed all my expectations.
