A Truely Fine Instrument!

I was initially draw to this guitar due to the finish. I have wanted a red sparkle finish for as long as I can remember. I have also always wanted a Gretsch with true Filtertrons and a Bigsby. The pickups are far more versatile than I realized.… read more This guitar can cover a lot of sonic ground. Gretsch has done an incredible job with the player's series. They have all the vintage mojo that we've all come to love, but also have included modern appointments that make the overall playing experience more enjoyable while keeping the vintage look and feel. I can't recommend this guitar enough!

I really appreciated the sales help from Jack and how he was able to make this work for me. It was delivered within 2 days as promised and packaged very well. While the guitar was in tune out of the box, nearly all 6 strings buzzed at the lower frets/ I hated to have to make any adjustments at all so soon with this this brand new beauty, but I had to adjust the neck a bit. there… read more is still a buzz on the 5th string but I havent tried to fix that yet/ I was hoping the guitar would settle into its new environment and work itself out, it hasnt yet. Overall, the playability and the tone from the filertons was everything that I expected. And the looks - the red sparkle is beautiful.
