GREAT TOOL
I haven't seen a 4" pair of dykes with as much muscle as these. For this cutting power I've always used a 6" or larger pair of dykes. To call this tool a string cutter is putting a limit on the power of this tool. I got my pair today and have played with it by cutting things other than guitar strings. I'm betting I get another pair just for my guitar or just because I have multiples of several tools just because I keep them in different places based on need. This is a heavy duty tool in a small package. I didn't spend almost $20 on a pair of string cutters. I now have a very powerful tool that usually requires a much larger version of cutters. Great tool.
Works as Advertised
Cuts strings easy. I like that the cutter is a little smaller and maybe a little sharper than the ones I have from the hardware store, so it fits better in my guitar case. It also comes with a plastic blade sleeve so that the blades aren't exposed and won't scratch my guitar while in storage. Its spring loaded, so opens up easy.
