Great tone, great workmanship in affordable package

I recently purchased the Guild A20 Marley Acoustic Guitar and couldn't be happier with tone, fit and finish, and playability right out of the box. I have owned many more expensive guitars/brands over the years, but this is my first ever Guild. I really like the satin finish, the patterning of the mahogany back, as well as the comfortable neck profile and scale length. It sounds read more wonderful whether strummed or fingerpicked. The dreadnought shape/size produces a clear bass and the mids and highs are crisp and defined. It's an impressive guitar, and when you add in all the extras, for the price, it's a no-brainer. I expect this A20 will be with me for a lifetime.

Guild & the Marley family hit one out of the ballpark!

This is a tribute to Bob Marley and is based on his at home songwriting guitar. It is easy to see why Bob chose a Guild A-20 Dreadnought. It is a light weight guitar that is a joy to play. The action is perfect. The solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and bone saddle and nut all make for great tone. Even the case candy is well thought out, as a tribute to Bob. Patrick, read more my Sales Engineer, made the purchasing process a breeze.

Guild has done a great job paying tribute to an absolute legend by offering this A-20 package with cool go bag and other accessories. The guitar plays well right out of the box, with a bright and full sound. Tuning machines keep her in tune remarkably well, and the "Guild" script headstock along with the "m" truss rod cover add a touch of class. All in all, this is a good deal on read more a package for the aspiring singer/songwriter. My only complaint is the lack of a pickup, but that is easily remedied. Thanks, Guild. Thanks, R.N.Marley.
