Wow! Guild D-55

There is nothing I could say that would do this guitar justice. You have to play it for yourself. I have a Martin D-28 and a Taylor 714ce which are both great guitars, but this guitar has become my new favorite. Looks great and sounds even better! Extremely happy with my new D-55.

Tried 300 Guitars with my son in 1999. We were looking for the best sounding guitar we could find. We picked the D 55 Guild and named it Grace.

It has a sound that is thrilling to hear and touched our hearts. So we Got it. It was made in the 1990's in RI. We bought it in NH now we are in PA. I still get a thrill whenever I hear it played. I have often said I love the way it sounds so much I would pay to hear my son play it. Good memories. It is still in nice condition and did need some maintenance a few years ago but read more now its back in tip top condition good as new. My son also put a pick up in it a few years back. Enjoy yours.

The best of the best.

If you're considering this guitar and/or others you can just stop and buy the D-55. I was very torn between Martin D28 and Gibson J45 for a long time lots of mixed reviews on both. The D-55 has no mixed reviews, they're all great and now owning it the reviews are 100% accurate!

D55 played the rest bought the best

i have had 2 of them over the years one got broken by accident .there is simple nothing that sounds better to me and so crystal clear and recording studio quality but I'm prejudice because its all I play .I had may others and many offers for mine for a Gibson and Martin but why when it works so well and that why they wanted mine .its Guilds flagship model to my understanding read more they use these in many recording studios and i understand why if it has the right strings on it i favor elixir strings they tend to last a lot longer and sound very good to
