Dream Guitar

I played this guitar a number of years ago and loved how it sounded and loved how easy it plays. I've wanted it ever since. I just unboxed mine this morning and it is as I remember, such a sweet guitar. The tone is so rich and full. The intonation is perfect all the way up the neck and it is so enjoyable to hold and play, especially for a 12-string. On top of all that, the F-512 read more is such a gorgeous guitar with the purfling and the inlays up the neck, and the gold tuners. It's well protected in a monster Guild hardshell humidified case. Best of all is how beautiful this guitar sounds. This is a dream guitar!

I bought my Guild F-512 from Sweetwater in May of 2020. I also own a 1981 F-512. I can't get enough of that Guild 12-string magic! It's worth every penny. You'll never play a better 12-string.

My favorite guitar, and i have owned more than 20, including Martins , Gibsons, and Fenders since 1965. My second favorite is my D-55. The inlays are beautiful and the quality is superb. I bought my F-512 last year. The playability is excellent. I have no problem playing bar chords or high up on the neck. The Guild sound is so rich. If you hit it hard it almost sounds like an electric, read more putting out some overdriven harmonics. Fingerpick it and it chimes beautifully. They put light gauge strings on it and i tune down to E flat per Roger McGuinn's advice. I love the jumbo body. Most others use a smaller dreadnought body. The large body balances nicely with the larger 12-string headstock. Excellent guitar. Sweetwater does a great job in delivering it.
