GUILD D55 and F55

Had the D-55 and just added The F-55.. The sound coming out of is remarkable and workman ship on both models is top notch. I own many guitars from other top makers and will say this "never never over look Guild Acoustic " Added the Seymour Duncan Mic /Mag 6 pickup. Truly word class sound.

One of the Best Guitars Ever Made

The Guild F55, formerly known as the F50R and the JF55, is an absolutely gorgeous instrument. I own both the JF 55 and the F50R and can attest that they are some of the most beautifully made and beautifully sounding guitars ever! Not only that, the playability is superb, something I can't necessarily of some other high end guitars I have owned and/or played. The craftsmen and women read more who have built these instruments over the years, whether in Westerly, R.I. or New Hartford, Ct. - where both my JF55 and F50R were made, respectively - put extreme care and attention to detail in these guitars that make them heirloom instruments by any standard. I own another Guild - the D20 - made by Cordoba in Oxnard, Calif. that has the same quality, so I know its standards are extremely high. Thanks, Cordoba, for brining this model back into the fold. It is a historic instrument that just can't be beat in the marketplace today. Save up and buy one if you can. It will be something you will treasure for years to come!
