Put my guitar in it, made sure the neck was behind the little tabby things, walked away… and a minute later my guitar was crashing to the ground without anyone touching it or being near it.

Fits nicely on the front of a onstage Z keyboard stand and would appear to be very functional in a limited workspace of course highly rec..

This is designed to rest your guitar, not to hang. The cradle folds down with any weight applied to it. It does serve a purpose, but not what I was looking for.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. The only thing is you need to make sure there's ample space for the bottom part of the clamp to get it's full surface area in contact, at least 1/2 inch, or it'll slip. As for the 6 string part - it's not really good for my Carvin DC800. The neck is too wide at the nut to slip easily in and out through the rubber gate. I can get it in there,… read more but it's a bit if work. A model for extended range guitars would be ideal.

The D'Addario/Planet Waves guitar dock is a great purchase! I always lean my guitar on the edge of the decks, and I know it might slide off. I know it will not slide off now. With the Guitar Dock it will stay right there when I need it. For the cost of the Guitar Dock it is low. Think how much it will cost to repair tuners, neck, and head stock.
