Not impressed
I'll stick to Ernie Ball strings. Really didn't see anything great about these strings. Bought the three pack and when I opened the second pack the G string had a big blob right at the 5th frett where they over wound the outer part of the string.
Fender string gauge
This string pack gauge,( 10 thru 38), was the standard set of 10's Fender strings that were sold in the 70's when I started to play in bands. I bought a new fender Stratocaster in 1972 or 73, and I enjoyed using them. I have often wondered why some stores stopped stocking them. Glad to see they are back. Actually I'm sure many pro musicians used this gauge back in the late 60's… read more and 70's as they're weren't that many choices!
Awesome
I love these strings. amazing tone, and feel
A Classic Voodoo Tone Essential
The special sauce for The Voodoo Brew. Quality custom strings, prepackaged. Much better than the old option of mixing two sets of strings to get the right sizes for the Hendrix-style setup. I use them on a floating trem Stratocaster and do an insane amount of dive-bombing and trem effects, rarely break a string.
The Original Fender F150's
Love these strings! Good to see Fender releasing these again!
