Not sure who invented this but it's brilliant. Easier to use. Even fits on the headstock of my EVH which has little tool for it. Great idea to have it so conveniently located and be so easy to use.

I got one of these for one of my guitars and that was a mistake. I should have gotten a 4 pack for all of my guitars and saved a few bucks. It really makes owning your Floyd equipped guitar as easy as your non-Floyd guitars because you can unlock the nut super fast. The magnet holds it on the guitar when your not using it and when you use it on the nut the magnet holds it in… read more pace there so you can just let go and it stays there. It's really ingenious. And now all my Floyds are coming out of their cases and getting played a lot more.
