Great Balance for Drop Tuning

I use these on my custom Halo 27 inch scale and they sound and feel phenomenal. If you're tuning a step down, you'll need these strings. The only caveat I see is that I'm not sure if they will always carry these gauges as they have been out of stock. You can't do better for the price.

Honestly I don't understand the hate this brand gets. The price and quality are on point compared to the big names. Not to mention the string gauge selection for the extended range guitars especially is perfect. It's hard to find this combination of gauges. As far as tonal qualities they are very similar to ernie balls or truly somewhere between Daddario and EBall. String life seems… read more to be about typical for all guitar strings that are played daily. Couple of weeks in between changes at this price point, can't complain.

Tried all the big brands and these are even better than stringjoy. They come in solid packaging and the sound of these bad boys are awesome. On top of that they are much cheaper. The gauges are great for drop A and lower.

I bought these strings just to try something new. These strings are great! The warmth I get from them is like nothing else I've heard. I play sludge/death metal. These do the trick for sure.

I first tried these strings when i needed an affordable replacement for my 7 string. I bought them without knowing anything about them and now i use nothing else for 7 or 8 strings.. They last for months and sound and feel uncompromising for the price you pay.. I will comfortably say that as long as these are made, i am loyal.
