Excellent for Longer Scale Lengths

This set works perfectly on my 28" scale 8-string. The gauges may look light but when strung up on an extended scale instrument bring it to a tension similar to a 25.5" scale guitar used to E standard with 10 gauge strings. This is a very well balanced gauge and the tone is surprisingly versatile as well. They both sound and feel great. Win-win.
