Excellent guitar!

First guitar I have bought as a beginner and am beyond pleased with it! Plays well and looks great! I love learning to play on it. I have been handed guitars by other players that have just felt terrible to hold and try to play but this it comfortable and easy to play. The thin body is a huge benefit, as a beginner wanting to be able to see where my fingers are, this guitar is read more awesome!!

After looking at a lot of acoustic electric guitars and sellers I bought an Ibanez AEWC32FM Acoustic-Electric Guitar from Sweetwater. Ordering on-line was easy and delivery was within a few days. Sweetwater customer service was very good. After I placed the order they contacted me to thank me for the order and to ask if I had any questions. They and the shipper kept me up to date read more when my guitar shipped to me. Before shipping they inspected the entire guitar to make sure that it was ready to play when I received it and it was ! The guitar is very nice and a good value. It sounds great both as an acoustic and through an amp. It plays very well with nice action. I recommend the guitar and Sweetwater.

This guitar and spent the better part of yesterday and today playing it. Its a little smaller than I was expecting but thats ok- It has nice tone, accepts a light capo well and has great playability up the neck. The intonation is very good as well. It will make a great second acoustic, and one that I will play on solo gigs and acoustic duo stuff as well as a great guitar for writing read more sessions. I dropped it into my Fishman Acoustic amp and wow it sounds great! fret board plays like an electric.

I've primarily been an electric guitar player but I've been looking to broaden my horizons with an acoustic and this was a home run of a purchase. The body is thin, the neck is great and the playability is extremely comfortable. The only downside is that due to the thinness of the body, some bass and overall body of volume is lost but as whole, plugged in, the EQ that it comes with read more more than compensates for that by rolling up the bass knob. Couldnt be happier with this purchase!

Just what I needed

Ok, I didn't get this guitar to use as an acoustic, nor as a standard tuned guitar. I wanted something to have an acoustic sound when plugged into an amp, with a touch of electric. I wanted a guitar I could use in alternate tuning for bottleneck work, through my amps. When I got it, I checked it for playability, as well as how it did plugged into a guitar amp. The first thing I read more found is that it was strung up with really bad strings. I was going to replace them with acoustic bronze strings but decided to do the same thing I did with my old beat up acoustic with a sound hole pickup. I used electric strings. WOW! the sound is incredible! The playability is so effortless! The neck feel is just like my electric guitars and the action is perfect for my style of bottleneck slide. Not too high, not too low. So far I would say it is a great value for the price, and I can't put it down!

Beautiful!

For the price point of this guitar, its is absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship rivals that of more expensive models. Great hybrid of an electric with play of acoustic. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

Nice easy playing

I just received this and have spent a good hour picking, strumming... I haven't had an acoustic in a while, just a strat and a tele. This fits the bill for a nice playing guitar to have around the house and the amber sunset fade color is really nice. It arrived in tune and ready to go. I also plugged it into an a regular electric guitar amp, (not an acoustic guitar amp), and read more thought it sounded good there as well. If you are looking for strong, booming bass look elsewhere, but for what I want to do it's great.

Thanks Stuart!!!

Better Than I Imagined

I was looking around online for an inexpensive guitar that would be some what unique looking and stand out in my collection, and I really did find one. The pictures do not do the guitar justice, it is quite beautiful in person. For anyone considering buying this this guitar I would highly recommend it. It has been setup well, and plays beautifully out of the box.
