This guitar and spent the better part of yesterday and today playing it. Its a little smaller than I was expecting but thats ok- It has nice tone, accepts a light capo well and has great playability up the neck. The intonation is very good as well. It will make a great second acoustic, and one that I will play on solo gigs and acoustic duo stuff as well as a great guitar for writing read more sessions. I dropped it into my Fishman Acoustic amp and wow it sounds great! fret board plays like an electric.

Just what I needed

Ok, I didn't get this guitar to use as an acoustic, nor as a standard tuned guitar. I wanted something to have an acoustic sound when plugged into an amp, with a touch of electric. I wanted a guitar I could use in alternate tuning for bottleneck work, through my amps. When I got it, I checked it for playability, as well as how it did plugged into a guitar amp. The first thing I read more found is that it was strung up with really bad strings. I was going to replace them with acoustic bronze strings but decided to do the same thing I did with my old beat up acoustic with a sound hole pickup. I used electric strings. WOW! the sound is incredible! The playability is so effortless! The neck feel is just like my electric guitars and the action is perfect for my style of bottleneck slide. Not too high, not too low. So far I would say it is a great value for the price, and I can't put it down!

Nice easy playing

I just received this and have spent a good hour picking, strumming... I haven't had an acoustic in a while, just a strat and a tele. This fits the bill for a nice playing guitar to have around the house and the amber sunset fade color is really nice. It arrived in tune and ready to go. I also plugged it into an a regular electric guitar amp, (not an acoustic guitar amp), and read more thought it sounded good there as well. If you are looking for strong, booming bass look elsewhere, but for what I want to do it's great.

Thanks Stuart!!!

As always Stuart made this transaction a breeze for us. The Ibanez acoustic is a beautiful instrument and plays and sounds even better. Highly recommend Stuart and Ibanez!!!!

Better Than I Imagined

I was looking around online for an inexpensive guitar that would be some what unique looking and stand out in my collection, and I really did find one. The pictures do not do the guitar justice, it is quite beautiful in person. For anyone considering buying this this guitar I would highly recommend it. It has been setup well, and plays beautifully out of the box.
