Great one!!

I tried several at a guitar store and once I got this GSR200, I was hooked. Then came to Sweetwater to make the purchase. It's light, so playing a gig, it won't weigh you down for 2-3 hours, it sounds GREAT, looks sweet, and feels good in my hand. I am also a guitar player who picked up a bass for the first time 6 months ago and this one was a dead-easy decision!! Highly recommended!!

Best Bass I have Owned

Granted I am a guitarist first, but I love to play bass. This is such a diverse and rugged guitar. It is too easy to get lost in playing lol

I got this bass and it's my go to. The pickup and volume knobs make for a great tone. Very underrated

Looked for ages as a beginner for something special, with great reviews and would last into advanced stage too.. look no further than this Bass... Have yet to read a bad review anywhere online, no matter what country or language the review is in.. Lightweight Mahogany body, Wallnut Flat finish. Very slim neck so great for teenagers, beginners or small hands, like myself. Sounds read more lovely and was ready to go, straight from the box, no tuning needed!! The Bass boost certainly adds some oomph.. As beginner, you need a Bass to look good, feel good and be easy to play, This Ibanez ticks all the boxes...

Ibanez quality extends to it's budget instruments

Needed a back-up instrument in this price range, figured to load a set of EMG passive P/J pickups into what ever I bought, and add some tuners. After looking it over, saw not a dent or scratch or blemish anywhere. Tuned up easy and stayed that way after some break in time...that was stock strings too. Plugged it in to a few basic, but classic, bass pre-sets and gave it a whirl. read more Pickups were responsive, had a lot more range than I ever would have expected; after a couple hours of playing, I decided to save the EMG's for another day. The extra bass control sounded awful and useless until I ran a nice pre-set with compressor/EQ setting. Wow, something extra to work with. Nice. Make no mistake, this is a good beginner/intro level bass from Ibanez. I'm very pleased with the solid feel of hardware, control knobs, and tuning keys. Big thanks to Sweetwater and all of it's crew, sure made the purchase a plus from start to finish. Excellent service and super quick shipping ain't no small thang!
