So I'll admit straight away that I have a very limited sample set for basses. I borrowed one from a friend to see if I liked it, and when he needed it back I decided to get one of my own, so those are the only basses I've ever played. Compared to my friend's, this one is a lot more user-friendly; the action on the strings is more than a standard guitar (of course), but I don't feel… read more like it's fighting me the way my friend's was. The sound is good, though I feel like it really wants to be a clean sound and it doesn't feel good if I have any distortion on it. Can't beat the price at all, and while I'm no expert, I haven't noticed any cheap corner-cutting on the craftspersonship. It works for me as a good intro bass.

this is an awesome bass i'm just getting into it and i like it :) action isn't too high i dont have to push hard on the strings either
