I want to keep this short and simple, but it won't be easy. This bass has that fast Ibanez feel, with great parts and materials, as well as a level of quality control sometimes missing from even the higher end instrument makers out there. All, while coming in at a reasonable price (especially, in light of current inflation). The 5-piece neck with its satin/natural wood finish feels… read more so good and "real" in the hand that it's hard to explain. The body is bluer in person. At least mine is, but it's a good thing. The knobs and tuning pegs all feel great, and I love the bird strand pickups. On that note, this is one of, if not THE, most inexpensive basses that Ibanez offers in their premium tier, and therefore has them come equipped with the Nordstrand Big Breaks. Definitely a higher end pickup than what one would find in a number of higher end (cost) alternatives. Anyway, I should quit gushing and get to sleep, but this is the most enjoyable instrument I may have ever played. Note: I also put tape wounds on it.

Beautiful bass right out of the box from Sweetwater. The Nordstrands have really good punch, but also excellent tone. The bass itself is great quality, smooth, fast neck, with great fit and finish. This bass is an absolute breeze to play. Excellent and fast service/shipping from Sweetwater. If you like the Ibanez SR line, you'll love this bass!

The bass is beautiful! Sounds great, feels great, and the neck is nice and slim. The blue, blonde and brown colors look amazing especially with the black hardware. Very happy with this instrument
