I love this Amp!
If you're looking for that historic Fender sound this amp does it in spades. Clean, clear, warm tones with natural breakup at higher volume on one channel and beautiful tweed tone on the other. The attenuator is great for playing at home and getting breakup at lower volume. It also takes pedals very well. I love this amp!
Incredible!!
I LOVE this amp. I have been using boutique amps in the Marshall vein for years. I desired a new tone for my latest recordings. I wanted what I describe as American style overdrive. I found that and much, much, more with this amp. All tones on this amplifier sound deep, sparkly, clear yet intricate. There are no bad tones. It gives you an incredibly expanded range of harmonic… read more content to play with. As you add gain, the tone stays organic sounding all the way. There is no sweet spot, they're all sweet. It can be hard to find an amp where the low to moderate gain tones sound as good as all the others. If you want a break from EL34 tube tone this amp will deliver. I love the tremolo circuit and the Iron Man attenuation works great. I like that it can be used solely for the lead channel to enable just the right volume across channels when switching. That and the foot switch pedal make this a very good gigging amp. For direct recording I matched this up with a few 2-12 cabinets in my Universal Audio Ox Box using condenser and ribbon mic models. Sweet. Very inspirational! It's a hard amp to stop playing… And after nearly a decade of excellent service it's time I call out Robby Resnick (x1368) for his help with this and all other things musical I have purchased from Sweetwater. Thank you, sir! Enjoy.
