Seymour Duncan makes top notch pickups. I put these in a guitar for an album I'm working on. The Invader pickups gave my soft clip tube amp modern high gain delivery going straight into the amp. They are not ideal if you want to do clean tones or have a diverse range of sounds. I put a pair of these into my Jackson JS32T Kelly and made a HUGE difference. Exactly what I was hoping and looking for. I play Thrash inspired riffs and these have the right amount of highs along with the lows to make my budget axe scream the way I wanted it to.
