Waste of money
I was super excited to purchase my first day fanned fretted guitar. I received my Jackson few days early. Needless to say I had a big smile on my face couldn't wait to play it. Recommended by Sweetwater not to open my purchase for 24 hours to get acclimated to altitude and weather in my state. So I did. I open up my Jackson fanned fret in guitar. Talk about love at first sight.… read more Then I started to play it. All in all the feel of a guitar felt great but would not keep tuned for more than a few riffs. The tuners are junk! The bridge has serrated screws. So if I tried to intimate scratches the bridge plate! Parable assembly by Jackson Guitars. After noticing all these flaws I've done a little bit more digging and found out that the purchase that I had made on this guitar was merely an expensive fretboard. The fretboard is amazing no flaws whatsoever. But if you want to purchase this guitar then be ready to put in about $... more investment or tuning pegs Bridge saddles and Pickups! The pickups were probably the worst I've ever encountered in my life they pick up everything that comes in contact with those pickups if I cough they pick up my cough! Don't play in front of your amplifier because it whale sound muddy as hell! this was a travesty of a purchase! And I just wasted... bucks! Do not buy this guitar!
Great guitar for a competitive price
Awesome guitar for the value! Thing came set up right out of the box, no tweaks. Sounds awesome, low B is nice and snappy and not chuggy and bottomed out when the gain is up. The pickups are solid for stocks, and will certainly get you where you need to… read more go. Feels well built, sounds and plays great. If you're looking to break into the multi scale realm, I highly recommend starting here. And shoutout to the sweetwater folks for the inspection and the solid packaging. That stuff means a lot!
