Great Amp for sure

This amp is very high quality. It delivers a great tone that is very well suited for jazz or blues. It has a lot of power for 25w. I almost always use the 12w setting. This thing gets loud. This is a 5 star amp but I gave it 4 because of the Celestion speaker. It is a British rock speaker. Put in a Eminence EM12N speaker and it will be the best tube jazz amp on the market. All read more the EQ's work very well with very high quality components. Worth the money. Does clean very well but you can get it to growl too. The reverb is great. Jonathan did me a solid with a overnight free ship.

Phenomenal Amp

My Sweetwater Sales engineer David Hess pointed me to this amp and I'm glad that he did. I wanted an American made tube amp with super clean sound and spring reverb. This amplifier is all that and more. Many years ago I owned an Ampeg Reverb Rocket known for a clean undistorted tone even at higher volume levels. I played a Hoboken made Guild Starfire through it and loved the organic, read more bell-like round sound. The Rivera Jazz Suprema captures that quality, ironically using the identical tubes! I now play a Heritage H-535 through the Rivera and couldn't be more pleased. Not only does it produce a great Jazz tone, it is great for Blues and Classic Rock. I will never sell this amp or the Heritage. Both are thoughtfully designed, hand crafted and high quality. One is never disappointed when purchasing the best.

WOW and excited are my first impression, it's been a week with this amp and I'm really excited about it, I didn't know you could get this clean and this much headroom on a tube amp this size until I played this amp. Controls are very straight forward and easy to dial in the sound you want. Sounds great through head phones for silent practice. Full punchy bass clean Martino to bright read more crunchy dynamic scofield tone when paired with the J Rockett blue noteI've owned Mesa mark V, Mesa rectoverb, Mesa lone star, PRS Dallas, all 4 amps in the fender custom 68 line, fender blues junior and Roland jazz chorus. I play jazz and fusion through a Ibanez scofield JSM100 and Gibson ES 175 both sound great. Plenty of head room on the 175 that I didn't get with the fender or the PRS and great full sound and works with pedals well with the scofield. More organic more pop/punch and no comparison with head phones with the Rolland. Recording and line out features will make this amp very versatile in the long run, especially the several line out voicing options and the low and high output switch. and size and weight to volume ratio will be very practical, this is a keeper. $... for a 25 watt 1x12 it's a lot, classic example of "you get what you pay for" if you want to make the investment and it meets your needs. I would think for this price it would come with a cover and foot switch, much less expensive amps include these. You want some protection for an investment like this so I ordered a Tuki cover which is great but you would think it would be included for this price tag. And I feel like knobs could be a bit more beefy but overall the build is very solid and the knobs and switches are inset so protected. I doubt these design issues will be a problem for me but I noticed the difference from my previous amplifiers.

I was in the market for a Deluxe Reverb ri. A good clean amp for around the house and small clubs. The ri are pretty good now adays and I was ready to pull the trigger, till I found this. OMG! This, one channel 1x12 is everything I was looking plus some. This amp has reverb, and I don"t mean just good old spring reverb. The reverb is fuller, bigger then what I"m use too. Love it! read more This amp is not meant to be pushed to dirt. Very clean at full power and more headroom then any Deluxe I"ve ever played. Some cool features are a bright switch. And a notch filter. The notch takes this amp from tweed to blackface in an instant. Killer mod. Also, this amp has a half power switch. Definitely handy. And on there switch. It"s call "focus". It will make your speaker sound.... "broken in". Too cool! It also has a pull pull for "fat". A nice little boast for thin sounds. Has an fx loop and recording options as well. Heavnt used these yet. This amp is very pedal friendly. It also has a master volume and a global presence knob. I play strats mainly, so the cleans from single coils is totally where they should be. Humbuckers are also strong and transparent. I can"t give this amp a perfect rating because the build is a little weak for my taste. The power switches up front at plastic. Seem flimsy. Dosnt come with a cover or a footswitch. And the speaker seems wrong for this amp. The brights are a little sharp or "tinny". Maybe a Cannabus Rex or something with an alnico mag in it would sweeten this up?
