Aggressive but articulate

Sound way better than my emg 81/60 setup these pickups replaced. Very aggressive sounding at full volume but will clean up when backed off.

Amazing.. restored faith in actives

I bought these due to the demo I seen of Jeff loomis playing them. I first started gigging with emgs about ten years ago and then switched to blackouts when those first came out.. that was years ago and I grew tired of active pickups for very long time. All of my guitars have passive boutique pickups, and a couple with some passive seymours which I love.. I took a chance on these read more and I love these.. really organic sound with surprisingly amazing cleans. The note definition on high gain is amazing and all around these have me blown away.
