Smooth feel and tone.

I put a set of these on a PRS Hollowbody II Piezo and love them. Much better durability so far than anything I've ever tried. But don't expect to play more than a half-tone bend with them; they're weird that way. Supple enough for good vibrato and a good feel, but after a half-tone, flat-wound strings hit a wall. But - they're as slick as monkey spit on glass. It's amazing… read more how much easier it is to quickly move around the fretboard. As the price might hint, they're not for everyone, but for those looking for very durable jazz strings (or maybe a "signature" style and tone ), these are top-drawer quality.
