My only point of reference was my Blues Junior, and I knew there had to be new horizons out there. After tons of internet research, lots of advice and figuring out my finances six different ways, I cast my lot with this amazing Morgan JS12 combo amp. Well when I first heard about this amp I was very skeptical about it. Especially since it's someone's signature model. In my 30+ years of playing these products usually fall short of expectations. This amp is AMAZING! Definitely exceeded my expectations. Although my original intention was just to use it in the studio, this amp is light and very gig worthy. Don't let the 12… read more watt spec fool you this amp has tons volume. It's easily louder than my Blues Jr. and my Soldano Astroverb both of which are 20 watts. Great with pedals even though all I use is a boost for solos. Clean tones are great and very smooth, I like the amp best between half and full volume. Breaks up great! This is my new goto amp for everything. Highly recommended
