Good enough to leave a review for
This pedal can be the extreme no mid/all side stereo/detuned af chorus at its limits. Or it can be the subtle tapey wobble that subtly adds character to make a basic part more sculpted and interesting. Including easy to use momentary LFO and drift that continues to add variation and character as you play. It's very musical, the random LFO is not fluff. First day demo'ing the pedal… read more I hooked it up to an imager in my DAW and learned that the M/S info is quite controllable if you have plans to record with this pedal. Finally, it's transparent, in that it doesn't change the tone of your amp going into it (I have it routed post amp preamp). This sounds amazing on synth, guitar, and bass. And I could confidently guess it'd sound amazing on drums as well. If I had to have a con it'd be two things: If you are looking for a vibrato pedal that can produce really severe vibratos, the depth is a bit lacking compared with vibrato pedals/amps I've used. But for subtle to moderate intensity vibratos it works just fine. Second would be the physical lights on the pedal: they are ******* bright. I put a small piece of painter's tape over them, which you can still easy see through, which dulled the brightness a bit. Honestly just buy it, it's the right one.
Very versatile
Love the chorus sound and being able to ramp up the speed with the second switch. I now like chorus again after not using it for 6 years. I really think this is one of the most usable and well thought out pedals I have ever used
Julianna in Stereo.... WHOA
I use it it on my synths and guitar. The hidden features like putting a modulation rate on the current modulation rate is such a fun experience when adding to my synths. Its perfect fort my production and it's also been my go to Choruses now. Great product!
Bassists Love it Too!
I have owned/used many a chorus pedals, from ART, Zoom, Boss, Digitech, TC Electronics, Way Huge, and LR Baggs (for bass the LR Baggs had been the best by far). I was looking into the MXR, which I have not used, but was waylaid by my worship leader who highly recommended the Julia. He is a very technical/critical evaluator of pedals so I went ahead and started to buy it, then… read more I saw her sister Julianna. I am a sucker for expression pedal, so I ordered it. WOW, what a very musical pedal. There are a many options to tweak, but where as most chorus pedals kill the low end (LR Baggs does not), this pedal lets the low B ring through. I play exclusively fretless and this pedal lends itself to my desired sound/tone. Love this pedal! Oh, and it complements my Darkglass Alpha Omega Ultra clean or distortion wonderfully. I get that this is not a cheap pedal, but man I do feel that it is worth it. And of course, a thank you to Nick Beach!
Sweet
I love this sweet sounding chorus. But, the main reason I bought it, is because my granddaughters name is Julianna. I've already given her first guitar to her, and yes, one day the "Julianna" chorus will be hers also. (along with my Taylor T5z)
