My first Uke. Jacob {ext 3017} said he has a MK-C that he likes. I ordered this model so I could plug it into an amp. Works great with the Fender Acoustasonic 15. If you do not need to use an amp the MK-C would be a better deal. The Kala case and strap that I ordered for this seems to be overpriced . I like the plug-in to run to my guitar tuner. Takes some time for the stings… read more to break in. Sweetwater also sells a nice folding stand that works well and is compact. If the extra items were better priced I would give it 5 stars. I have a friend that owns a soprano uke. The concert size is much better, at least to me.

The concert ukulele is a nice addition to my string section. Like a good book, I can't put it down. I've had opportunity to plug the instrument in my acoustic amp and it sounds great. As a guitarist for almost 50 years I have enjoyed taking what I know and applying it to this instrument. As a songwriter and singer I have started to compose with it too. Richard B.
