This set is for those who do not have a separate pile of tools dedicated to guitar repair/adjustments. Taking pieces from other sets around the house can get messy. I've realized this doesn't have every size I need but it covers the majority of general maintenance. Still have to keep the tools that come with the instrument near by, but having these on my desk covers most jobs.… read more Also the feeler gauges are labeled so it is great for beginners looking to learn the basics of proper string height and use of the truss rod. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with these tool kits. The tools are good quality and are nicely organized in the cases. Coupled with the clear instructions, I found I had everything I needed to successfully do my first guitar setup. My tele never felt so good.

Kit works fine. Getting the occasional set-up done by a professional wasn't bad when I only had 1 guitar but once I caught GAS I needed a way to save some money. This kit was it. Using the videos on the Sweetwater site I was able to use this kit and learn how to do my own set-ups without worrying too much about messing something up.
